About Me

Hi, my name is Andrew.

I was introduced to programming at a young age when I had the opportunity to learn Flash, which used a programming language called Actionscript.

Actionscript is an object oriented language, which made the transition to C# easy. It was a fantastic learning tool. During college I worked on some side-projects using the Unity engine, and eventually switched to the Monogame framework which I prefer for 2D games. It’s far more difficult, but allows for much more control over the final project.

Currently I am employed by a vendor software company working for Nike, and have worked on multiple projects. I’ve gained a large variety of skills with Microsoft related technologies such as ASP.NET, SQL, IIS, WPF, Azure Cloud and DevOps technologies (CI/CD), Powershell, and several others.

Although I currently specialize in Microsoft technologies, I also have skills in other technologies. This website, for example, runs on a Linux server using Apache, PHP, and WordPress. I’m hoping to soon have more projects to show using the various technologies that I’m in the process of learning.
